Today at the conference the talks in the stream I'm following moved from solver software to modelling software, so it was less interesting. I still gained one valuable piece of information, even though I felt a bit annoyed that the person hadn't told me earlier. In the afternoon there was a talk by someone from a project I should know more about. She seemed pleased that I came to chat to her afterwards, as she's heard a lot about HiGHS so I gave her one of our tee-shirts.

I spurned the plenary, going back into Copenhagen on the bus with researcher J, who got off at one stop to join their girlfriend, and I got off at the next to join A. She was in a delicatessen, where we shared some fine open sandwiches (Smørrebrød).
