Down the Rothay

This evening's swimming adventure was to walk up the River Rothay for about a kilometre and swim back down to the jetty.  Here is Chris our safety  boat and transporter of shoes and swimming robes back to the cars.  Strava track attached. There was noticeable and very welcome temperature rise when we entered the lake from the river.  And the river was surprisingly clear considering we were just downstream of the Ambleside sewage works.  To be on the safe side , this was a "heads up" swim.
