the next generation...

The rain has arrived back, thankfully just after I'd finished doing a couple of little jobs in the garden!  managed to get the grass cut and also sort out some pruning - the raspberries needed tidying up, the grapevine needed some cutting back and the apple tree needed thinning too! So at least my 'fruit' jobs are all ticked off the list for now!

And all while being observed by 2 cats and 1 fox!  so funny how they all seem to show up at the same time - 1 of the cats is now in the shed having a snooze! And that's where they were yesterday for 6 hours - more snoozing!  might need to put a cat flap in the shed door to make it easier for them!!

Also nice to see a baby jackdaw with a parent this morning - squawking for food and attention!  They seem to be a breed with ever increasing numbers around here.

Mum is off at Wimbledon today with a friend so will be looking out for her on TV - hope she behaves herself!
