Another exceptionally rare in the UK butterfly. 
A wander at the Col des Montets nature reserve today, a favourite place and a good easy walk on a day with threatening storms. 

Then a late lunch in the staggeringly well refurbished Rose Pont in Chamonix - it used to be a bit of a dive in a spectacular location - now it's one of the most impressive places that I've been in to - felt like dining in a 1920's first class cruise liner, stunning.
