Lathyrus Odoratus

Ringlet

Another cool, dull and windy day here. I was probably spoilt living in Sussex, arguably the most butterfly-rich county in England.  So far I'm not particularly impressed by the butterflies of Shropshire (other than Wood Whites which seem to be doing well). So far I've seen just nineteen species compared with 2022 (my last full year of records for Sussex) when I'd seen thirty species by 1st July. Perhaps I just don't know where to look yet. Today's blip is a Ringlet, which arrived in the garden.
