Some Assembly Required

What a wonderful Saturday! I’m off work for two weeks now, which in itself is sufficiently awesome and cause for celebration – but it’s also the weekend of #1 son Raff’s 23rd birthday. We’re having a bit of a family gathering, which begins today. The weather is perfect today – warm and sunny but not too hot – so everyone spent the afternoon in the garden, eating, drinking and chatting. Dash has been getting very interested in woodworking lately, which is excellent, and we are keen to encourage his creativity. He is also a messy little sod at times, too, and we are equally keen to avoid random drill holes and saw marks on the garden furniture! We picked up a basic Black + Decker workmate bench from B&Q this afternoon to help solve this problem, and I took this picture of Dash & Gubs assembling it on the lawn.
