Tonford Lane Bridge View

I’m working back in the city today—it’s the last day before I’m off for two weeks of annual leave. On the one hand, this is awesome, and I can hardly wait for my holiday to start. But on the other hand, that means there is a lot of extra work, including clearing my desk and to-do lists before I am away. It’s still hot but with a little more cloud, and I think some cooler weather is coming, which will be a welcome respite from the heat. I needed to visit Thanington, on the outskirts of Canterbury, for a job in the middle of the day. Once the work was done, I parked nearby on Tonford Lane, where it crosses the River Stour via a wooden footbridge. I took this image from the bridge using the Slow Shutter app to capture the motion in the water and the leaves rustling in the breeze.
