None of these woman caused any harm to their mothers you will be pleased to know.  Interweb surfing has not revealed any definitive answer to the origin of this superstition ranging from just children's rhymes and taking care on footpaths to racial slurs.  Horrors.   One for Jaczero's theme of superstition.   Thanks for hosting.

Not much to report today.  The weather cleared a bit but is going to revert to rain again tomorrow, mind you we have had some showers today although there were many sunny bits and it is raining again now.

Maggy and I visited aged care facility #1 and were told we had the best job.   It was hard not to agree.
