Summer Holiday Day 8: Exploring the Kerry Coast

Our first stop was the Kerry Cliffs, which more than made up for bad weather causing us to miss out on the other two famous Irish cliffs - Slieve League and the Cliffs of Moher. The viewpoint was also good for getting shots of the famous Skellig Islands, Luke Skywalker's retirement home.

We then crossed the bridge onto Valentia Island and had lunch in the car at the top of the Geokaun Mountain Peak before going to view the Tetrapod Footprints. The car ferry back across to the mainland only took five minutes before we visited the impressive Daniel O'Connell memorial church in Cahersiveen.

Back at the Airbnb, we had a recording session for Orla's RCS audition videos. Nice to be able to do it in an unusual setting.

Then we sat through an excruciating 95 minutes of an England vs Slovakia match, until a very memorable Jude Bellingham goal rescued the team in the last minute of injury time.

Then some Doctor Who - Conor was introduced to the very first Christopher Eccleston episode from 2005.
