Battersea Power Station

Mum had to depart for Reading this morning for the UKELA conference. Meanwhile, Dad, Orla and Conor visited this amazing new shopping mall inside the Battersea Power Station and Orla played Moonlight Sonata on the piano! (Here's a video).

After checking out of Arena Tower, we drove through South London on our way to Battersea. We visited Smyrk's Road, where Dad's Grandad, Arthur Leonard was born. It was a very slow drive - there are a lot of speed bumps in South London!

After visiting Battersea Power Station we checked into the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel then headed out of dinner at San Gennaro before getting the train to Streatham Hill to meet up with Rob and Shoni. We went out for beer and ice cream accompanied their dog Strax. Then a late train back to the hotel.
