Pleach

This display was much brighter a couple of weeks ago but is still quite colourful in a grassy area of a local park.  They are typical of wild flowers that might have been seen before “improvements” were made in agriculture and include red poppies, pink corncockles, blue cornflowers, yellow corn marigolds, yellow rattle and white chamomile. They are not truly wild as they have been planted by the local authority and are beneficial to bees and other insects.
