Vatersay Beach

Reputedly one of the most beautiful beaches in the Outer Hebrides and the start of our Hebridean Way. We cycled down from Barra and then back up to South Uist. We’re in a B & B in Daliburgh tonight. We had a picnic lunch facing Barra Airport (the beach) and then caught the ferry to Eriskay.
We started later than planned as we had some bike related issues (not me for once). It was much sunnier than anticipated. So much so that I even got a bit sunburnt!
Despite having an e-bike, I’m still very tired tonight as we cycled 33 miles (with some steep inclines) and I had another poor night’s sleep last night. Tomorrow should hopefully be a shorter day.
