After a rather unsettled night, we had breakfast in our hostel this morning and then once we’d left our panniers in left luggage, explored Oban.
We arrived in Barra to lovely sunshine this afternoon after a 5 hour ferry crossing from Oban. It was a relatively smooth crossing.
Tony from Barra Bikes (v helpful) turned up with all of our bikes and took rather a while to explain everything to us. It’s rather daunting getting to know and ride a new bike at my age! We headed off to the local Coop to buy our evening meal and breakfast and then prepared and ate our meal in the very cosy and welcoming hostel.
