Little Birdie re-visited...

I first discovered this little birdie in the garden in June 2013.

When we built the pool and extension he went missing and I assumed the builders had destroyed him but a wander in the side garden today and there he was!  Our new garden helper must have found him when he cut back a load of overgrown shrubs.  It made me very happy. 

I had a bit of a slow start today as was pretty exhausted after yesterday.  S, L & the girls headed to Braehead in the afternoon to meet up with a load of Glasgow friends and have dinner.  I got a little bit of painting done then got on with my crochet.  D went to the driving range and Alan was out with Jordan, so it was a little oasis of calm for a while in a busy week.

D returned, Alan returned.  D and I had dinner then the gang arrived back, Anna and Faith full of they joys and desperate to show us the birthday gifts they had received from their friends.  Anna's were mostly Taylor Swift related so she was very happy.
