That Will Do!

Yorkshire Sunset

After a good night's sleep and a relaxed start to the day we drove over to visit Big Brother, now settled in the flat.
He is well but, truth be told, there is a lot of stuff to find an allocated space now all the items in storage have been reclaimed, and the model railway is going to need a lot of work to re-erect.

As we drove for lunch at the Mill at Worst on we passed again the roadside gypsy encampment; apparently they come regularly so locals are quite accustomed to seeing them. I counted about six or seven caravans or trailers and as many horses, which appeared content and healthy. Where the 'Puppies for sale' or the 'Guinea pigs for sale' were kept I didn't stop to ask.

We stayed with BB until late afternoon then drove to our B&B in Gisburn, where we watched the sun go down while sitting at the dining room window. On a clear day the Three Peaks are visible, we're told, but this afternoon there was too much cloud and it is noticeably cooler here, a chilly 12.5°C compared with the low 20's of previous days.

Heading further north tomorrow.
