Lupins

On the bank of the Spey opposite Cromdale kirk. A little further along the bank were magnificent Melancholy thistles and the bright orange flowers of Fox and Cubs.

In the nearby wood we were pleased to find that twinflower, wintergreen (extra) and spotted orchids have all survived the ravages of storms which have felled many trees since my last visit.
