St John's, Gamrie

Cosmo is now old enough to go for reasonable walks and it was a glorious day - we celebrated with a honeysuckle and rose fragrant walk along the track to St. John's kirkyard. The villages in the distance are Gardenstown ( locally Gamrie) and beyond that the tiny settlement of Crovie - clinging to a ledge at the bottom of the cliff and difficult to access .
