Meet the pilot

we left Gower after lunch and headed to Carmarthen where we were crewing at the ' Wales Balloon festival' for the weekend. 
The main photo is of the crowd and was mistakenly taken with a long exposure as I'd been taking blurry photos of the fairground rides whizzing around and forgotten to reset my camera. I quite liked the effect though. They were listening to our pilot (see extra) who was demonstrating the balloon burner and answering questions in a 'meet the pilot' session.  Unfortunately it was too windy for flying however there was a later 'night glow' of 10 balloons. 
     I felt sorry for the crowd as the organisers hadn't made it clear that the balloon flying would only occur late evening and then only if it was very calm. The night glow was also later than on the programme so many had left without seeing any of the balloons.
