A Blip snap with Eunice! ;-)It’s a beautiful colour. The white and pale pink ones aren’t properly out yet.
I was awake at 3am this morning with all sorts going round in my head.
I have to write everything down about the misdiagnosis from our point of view and the rest of the family as at some point we will be having a meeting with the Patient Advocacy Liason Service (PALS).
I couldn’t get back to sleep so came downstairs and started writing a timeline. It shocks me reading it all and nobody has been in touch about it or apologised for what they put us through.
I can’t concentrate on reading my book or doing any other pleasurable things until we’ve spoken to them and got it all out in the open - only then can we put it behind us.
I am not one to dwell on things but this is big and is still hanging over us like a big cloud.
There is no mention in Frank’s discharge letter to the GP of a misdiagnosis only what they found in the end - Liver Cysts that were infected. Quite a common thing apparently and some people are born with such cysts and have them forever with no nasty consequences while in others they can flare up and cause terrible pain.
I don’t want to bore people with this but Blip is a good way to document things and keep track of what we were doing when these other things were going on.
Going to watch telly now.
Thanks for all the kind comments, stars and hearts over the last week. ;-) X
Goodnight :-) X
