Cut Above ….

…. The normal Veterans Breakfast guest; Milla Magee, 23, from Newquay, is the current Miss England 2024. A photographer and lifeguard she is the granddaughter of an RAF wartime pilot and was a very welcome guest.
Nothing quite like a bacon sandwich and a pretty lady in the same place at the same time to cheer a veteran up.
The breakfast this morning was held at RAF St Mawgan, a good opportunity for some networking and Mrs S and I came away having both passed on and received useful info.

Having dropped off friends Steve and Tina it was home to sort out a pile of accumulated e-mails including one offering me a days work as a Polling Clerk on BBC July 4th, that’ll keep me out of mischief, for a day at least.

I also need to get in touch with the ‘Old Thursday Gang’, I had someone ask me about the ‘100 Club’ and I don’t really have any answers - but I know someone who might.
