Grandma Dorothy

Continuing the theme from a couple of weeks ago, also known as digging out the tins from the back of the fridge. This one is like a holiday (the only time I'd ever drink a pina colada) in a glass.

Himself was up at 6am to go and set the course up for the local Race For Life so I had an early start. I managed a few chores before my riding  lesson, then when I got back I finally got round to cutting all the grass  (but not washing the car),. It looks a lot better and should be ok while we're on holiday.

The Not Children had some sad news this morning, their step dad's mum (Step-Grannie?) sadly died in the night, a bit unexpectedly by all accounts. She was in her 90's, a lovely lady (no idea how she raised such an obnoxious son) and until a couple of days ago was fighting fit. I don't know the details but she's been part of their life for 15 years or so, and coming on the back if their own Grannie dying earlier this year I think they've taken it hard.
