EURO24

I was up late dealing with post-Workshop activies: sending the thank-you email, posting and responding on LinkedIn, but also scanning a document for daughter K. So I wasn't up in time to be able to protest when - I assume - the fifes and drums of the Orange Order marched past our house at 08:15. 

We spent the morning packing, shopping and walking Django, before driving to the airport to take a flight to Copenhagen. Since Denmark is playing Germany, this evening I was hoping for some football atmosphere. However we're staying in a soulless area too far from the city centre and, surreally, the only atmosphere came from a group of Indians celebrating their country winning the Cricket World Cup!

The 2024 European Operational Research (EURO24!) begins on Monday, and tomorrow I write my talk.
