Dalälven (Dal River) at Gysinge

Day 39
Gysinge is an old industrial area, created by this water and the power it enabled. Nowadays the area is quiet and and part of a nature reserve, and also on the edge of the Färnebofjärden National Park.
We stopped here for a late lunch and to stretch our legs. We visited the Naturum and were very impressed by the building, the displays and information, and the person on duty who seemed very friendly and knowledgable.
Once lunch was over we set our sights on Sundsvall and visiting Livia and Roger. We got there about 7 o'clock and enjoyed a fine evening before heading home soon after 11. We got home just before midnight but it was still full daylight in this land of the white nights.
