Christmas Down Under?

This is the other bottlebrush (Callistemon) that grows in our garden. It grows in the soil beside a wall in a sunny spot, and and in contrast to the pot bound version I blipped earlier in the week, this one has done incredibly well this year. The stem on the right shows the seed capsules. Callistamon are native to Australia. At Christmas we have the red and green of holly leaves and berries. This one might suit an Australian Christmas, if they flower there in December. Probably best viewed large!
