Golden Ringed...

...dragonfly...

A wee trip up to the Three Lochs Forest Drive.  I parked up and went to the dam at one end of Loch Drunkie.  I was walking along when I spied this dragon flying towards me and I could see it had caught something so I stood perfectly still and it finally landed on the dam wall and ate it's prize - a Common Blue Damselfly.  I took loads of photos as it munched away...  I also spied a young Common Blue Damsel (see extras).  The insects have been very obliging lately!
