Viva Espana

It was an early start as Caroline drove us to the airport. The two and a half hour flight was uneventful. Palma airport was heaving, fortunately it was only a short Taxi drive to Clare’s apartment.
Her apartment was gorgeous and there was a pool on the roof. We quickly settled in and walked down to the sea. Can Blanc is one of Clare’s favourite restaurants. Her and her husband always go there when they first arrive. We chatted and laughed over lunch, enjoying White Sangria made with Cava and 4 plates of tasty tapas.
Back at the apartment we chilled by the pool, swimming snoozing and sunbathing.
In the evening Clare had booked us VIP tickets for Son Amar. We enjoyed pre show cocktails in front of a dancing fountain. The fountains moved to the music, it was very creative to watch. The VIP seats were at the front and I was dreading any audience participation! The Moet was flowing and we tucked into more tapas before the show started.
The Athletes Singers and Dancers put on an amazing performance, and we were all enthralled.
It was nearly 1am when we got home. It’s been a long but very enjoyable day.
