In the Garden

The bendimen have put down roots
and say they're here to stay.
Red and Yellow both declare
they'll never go away.
"We're branching out and standing tall,
yet don't take up much room.
So watch this space -- you never know --
you might just see us bloom!"

It's been a proper summer's day today. Mr PP has cut the grass and I have filled a tub with weeds and deadheads. Didn't overdo it; was very disciplined.

It's amazing where you find strange roots on a silly Saturday!
