Staircase Curves

A combination of two themes of the day:

First, the city of Nice is hosting a 'Summer of Matisse', with eight local museums and galleries holding exhibitions of works by, and inspired by, old town resident Henri Matisse. This was taken at Musée Massena on the Promenade des Anglais, one of said museums.

Secondly, while I have some free time I'm trying my best to rattle through as many of my photography course exercises as I can this week... and today I was working on 'Curves', with a simple brief to find some examples of where a curve implies movement and direction. I though this staircase was a good fit for the brief.
