Best of the day (Day 3336)
An early start so I could have a rummage in my garage for bits before heading to town to collect more bits, then down to South Ronaldsay to deal with a bit of an emergency. The customer had been "doing a bit of tidying up" and decided to cut some pipes which were in the way. The first pipe he chose to cut was the water main. Which fed the campsite he runs. He got in touch last night in a bit of a flap, but I didn't have the parts to sort the pipe, so had to wait til this morning to get to him. It took longer to get there than to fix the pipe. Thankfully the pipe was in a greenhouse because the weather outside was vile.
Back to Kirkwall next to change a basin waste then back to Mum's for lunch as I had a couple of hours to wait before the next job.
In to Kirkwall again and I spent a couple of hours changing taps and wastes on a bath and basin before a visit to a customer to discuss a bathroom re-fit.
Back to Mum's to catch up with my beautiful wife as the weather improved.
