Dad’s funeral

We had dinner last night with the family and it was nice to meet up with family members.

Some family had been estranged over the years and there was a lot of healing. I now feel part of my Dad’s second family after so many years.

His funeral was probably the best I have attended. Can I say that? My 2 brothers and I, along with 3 close friends acted as pall bearers and it was an emotional, uplifting, educational and wonderful occasion.

RIP Dad.
