3rd Line Road

We always enjoy walking down 3rd line Rd. The land to the left of Steve is his family's farm. We walked the length of it (1 mile) and Steve told me it's the width one field! The land belonged to his great grandfather, about 150 acres. Nowadays it's leased to a local farmer who raises cattle. We also saw a cornfield planted on our walk today! Just 3 pickup trucks passed us during our hour long walk. There are lots of beautiful wild flowers, see the extra photos.The huge sky, long gravel road and the expanse of land are my favorite parts of walking on 3rd Line Rd. Wolfe Island is 20 miles long and the largest of the Thousand Islands.
