Water Lily

The first water lily flower in our pond  opened today. 
Weather conditions not so hot, which made for a more comfortable day.
We watered the young trees again. Later, I popped into town to buy birthday presents on behalf of  my Australian  sister to give our Mum.
Our  neighbours  are  having an extensive garden makeover carried out. The existing lawn had been completely cleared and the ground thoroughly flattened with a wacker plate. I was fearful they might be getting it covered in artificial  grass, so you can imagine my great relief  when a load  of rolls of turf was delivered, and then laid, today!
