Bird proof protection....

.... I hope so. It took a little while hammering in some redundant metal posts, joining bits of wire, & plastic mesh together to encircle the perimeter , finding a piece of net to cover the complete area was a fluke, tieing it in, hopefully not leaving any gaps, weighing the end of the net down by attaching it to a wooden post but I was feeling pretty chuffed with the end result. Fingers crossed I will get to reap the benefits of a bumper gooseberry crop rather than the local feathered visitors. Plus, I've saved myself money as the only item I have actually purchased is a roll of twine, all the bits 'n bobs were inherited with the plot.
So although you are actually seeing a work of art... Lol!!! It' s a mishmash of broken/abandoned/damaged/redundant "stuff". All this faffing took place before the heat of the day, which I believe reached 27deg c.
