Terillium

Rosa ‘Munstead Wood’

A beautifully fragrant repeat flowering shrub rose bred by David Austin and named after Gertrude Jekyll’s famous home and garden. It’s very prolific and healthy but has been withdrawn recently from Austin’s range in response to concerns about future climate change. It’s been a favourite with me for about five years now - as has Lady Emma Hamilton - also withdrawn for similar reasons. I wouldn’t want to be without either of them - does that make me a custodian?
