Extra Ordinary

Beautiful sunset at ten pm, after we got back from dinner we walked down to the little ferry port to admire the fabulousness of it all. Before all that we had a nice wander up and down Caherciveen high street in and out all the shops. Then I drove us all about looking for a nice swimming spot. The first one I had to make a hasty retreat when I spotted all the purple jelly fish everywhere, decided I didn't need to find out if they were harmless or not. The next beach around the way was a blue flag beach, the three children life guards assured me there were no jelly fish but agreed there were loads in the other place. It was a huge big sandy beach, I set off walking to a good spot to get in. And then realised that one of the children lifeguards was following me- bless him, there was no one else swimming and he decided that he needed to keep a close eye on me. Ohhhh, there was SO MUCH seaweed! It was like in a film with it wrapping round my arms and legs. Anyway, then I got out, much to the relief of my personal lifeguard and we walked back up the beach chatting.

Out for dinner into town, driven by the highly entertaining husband and wife taxi team. A jolly evening and then with all the gorgeous late sunset. Such a good day.
