Dresden Royal Palace
The Palace is at the heart of the historic Dresden city centre. From 1485 onwards it was the permanent residence of the rulers of Saxony. The architectural character is mostly mid-16th century.
The Palace was destroyed during the Second World War and has been rebuilt over the last few decades. The restoration work is still going on.
There are various different museums to visit. The first extra from the Armoury depicts a knight on his horse.
The second one shows a chandelier in the music room.
