Jobs and tidying up.

Nice to have a table and chairs now. Breakfast and lunch. In between times we did some more jobs in the house, made up the new bed and walked up to the community recycling area with lots of cut up cardboard boxes and packaging. It was warm, and several of the neighbours were doing gardening jobs, so the task took a bit longer than planned for. Good conversation; that’s fine.

The wee family arrived late afternoon to stay for their first weekend. They were last here when we flitted in; a lot has happened since our older son was carrying boxes and manoeuvring furniture with his brother! They enjoyed seeing what’s been done to date. Several things were surprises, that was nice.

We got home late, again. At least the Friday rush hour was long gone.
