Tube attempt One

My first attempt at using my extension tubes and I know I picked a boring subject but you have to start somewhere and I just loved the colour of this rose. I took quite a few shots (more than I would care to mention) and this was the best of the bunch.

Problem I had is that I wear glasses for distance and also for reading so I was never sure what was in focus or not so there were a few deletions but one thing I do is persevere so onwards from here. I was hoping to find some insects but alas no so a rose it had to be.

Good job I grew up in an era where most things were done by trial and error and the Mr Heath Robinson theory was used quite alot.
