Extension Tubes

I have recently have posted a couple of close ups shots with mixed results and was considering the purchase of a macro lens. However my son in law who has probably forgotten more about photography than I will ever know suggested a set of extension tubes which are alot cheaper and that he was willing to lend me.

So please bear with me overt the coming weeks as I endevour to try my hand at some real pucker close up shots. I have no idea as yet what they will be of so this could be interesting.
