Trip to Blackford

Very warm again and quite ‘mochy’ (Scot’s word).

Gathered the garden tools and cleaning stuff to take to Blackford cemetery to give the family plot a clean up. Mum is still not there, she is still in my study room and I haven’t done the gravestone inscription either. I had picked flowers from the garden to put at the grave of Papa and Dad. There was lots of weeds alongside the grave I think the council have cut back on the weeding so will need to keep on top of this.

We had a walk in the woods adjoining the cemetery felt quite drained with the airless atmosphere. Walked along to the other wood which looks over Blackford and the house I grew up in where this photo was taken.

We were going to go the garden centre near Crieff but was starving so stopped at the Deli in auchterarder and sat outside with a coffee , prawn sandwich and four hash browns finished off with a millionaire shortbread.

Tea on my own later as S was at a paddleboard event and then went to Glasgow to pick Cameron up from a Green Day concert at Bellahouston. Numerous roads closed on the way due to night roadworks but got there after three different diversions and home around 1am.
