Gertrude Jekyll Garden

We were up early this morning and by the time Mr P picked up Nathaneal (Poppy’s owner) from Alnmouth station at 10am, we’d had breakfast, finished packing and taken Poppy for her morning walk. After an emotional farewell (mainly me) we drove up to Holy Island. We explored the island and had lunch there. I absolutely love this garden It was baking hot until mid afternoon and then it clouded over and by the time we got back to Peebles this evening it was grim! As was the England v Slovenia football match.
