A Hub Shot

Perhaps the choice of short sleeves was mistaken optimism in expecting that today's temperatures would match yesterday's. No matter, a brisk walk into town for shopping sorted out the goosebumps. And today I remembered to bring home the bag of goodies.

Another bag of goodies was filled with cast off clothes after I returned home, when I decided that there was a limit to the number of trousers and T-shirts a girl could wear in any given time. A ruthless pruning of the wardrobe meant a handsome donation to the local charity shop.

When Magpie came knocking at the door, it was time to stop the clear out, have a cup of tea and do some serious gossiping.
There was much to discuss and an hour slipped away effortlessly before, with a flourish of bike lifting, she left, providing me with this hub shot.

To say I was impressed is an understatement as hers is a seriously heavy commuting bike complete with a pannier and not one of those carbon fibre lightweight road bikes which it is possible to lift with the little finger

And now His Lordship has arrived home from the hills along with the sun. The garden chairs can be of use again.
