Forest Blipshoot

It's amazing what you see whilst in the middle of the forest! I went for an early morning walk in the forest with Louis and our friend Mary - it was a lovely temperature and nicely shaded by the trees. When we got to the lake, Louis headed straight for it and we let him off his lead as there were no ducks around. We threw sticks and stones in the water for him and he was quite happily running in an out, and even actually swam, which he doesn't do often.

I wasn't too worried about the state of him as he had an appointment to be groomed this afternoon, but unfortunately Mary ended up slightly covered in mud thanks to Louis, and I nearly slipped down the muddy slope trying to take photos of him!

Anyway, having got a couple of possible blips we carried on and then came across this photoshoot taking place. I took a couple of shots and this one is the best, so Louis had to take a back seat as it's not often you come across this, and the photographer didn't seem to concerned at me taking photos of them.

This afternoon we had a girly lunch with some other friends, and it was nice to catch up. Then on my way home I did a bit of baby shopping as we're going to visit friends tonight who have recently had twins. I also saw a nice bistro set in the sale which would be lovely for our new house, so I'm going to meet Alan at the shop now to see what he thinks of it.
