Day 2 started with anticipation for The Giant’s Causeway. "There were more people than we thought there would be because a tourist bus came, but the place was still pretty big." The famous hexagonal columns impressed: “It’s really cool actually seeing all of the hexagons… the organ pipes were my favourite.” We also discussed the local legend of Fionn mac Cumhaill and his duel with Benandonner: 

Next, we headed to Dunsveric for a picnic. “We saw some archery lessons going on". The day was heating up, so we sought out Ballintoy Harbour for a cooling break. We ventured into a cave: "It was really cool because like, it was quite warm outside, but in the cave it was immediately very cold." The echoes of dripping water filled the space, and we noticed something unexpected: “There was a pigeon nest.” 

Moving on, we stopped at the Portaneevey Viewpoint, where we could see the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Although we didn’t cross the bridge, we witnessed some daredevil antics: “I took the drone out for a flight and I saw a guy jumping up and down on the bridge, making it bounce with other people on it.” 

Later, after a rest back at The Dune, we explored Portrush. "We walked along the harbour wall in Portrush, soaking in the view." Dinner was at Harry’s Shack, with the mussels being the highlight: "They were very, very nice." Dessert was skipped in favour of more ice cream later in the evening:
