Lilium Regale

Spectacular and graceful. I’ve been waiting a few days for it to open out and here it is looking good with Rosa ‘Generous Gardener’.
I was deadheading roses this afternoon after a strenuous session moving a phormium out of a pot into a border. It took three of us making considerable efforts but well worth it to save the plant and the pot. Fed every plant in the garden and started watering the beds. Planted three Geranium’Kora’ in the iris bed which should add interest once the Iris have stopped flowering.
