Something different outside the front door!

Earlier this year I divided up all the little alpine strawberry plants which I grew from seed about five years ago and ended up with several more pots. This is one pot by our front door, where I usually have geraniums, busy lizzies or petunias! I also have some in wall pots in the porch so now that they are fruiting we can pick one or two each day when going in or out! Cheaper than bedding plants and they are growing well!

So nice to be sunny today and to sit out having coffee after Pilates. 
Started sorting out and moving things in our garage as we are having new electricity and gas meters on Thursday….hoping that that will be trouble-free. 

Picked up the grandchildren as usual and they spent a lot of time in the garden playing with their new badminton set which they received for their birthday. They also made a nice Birthday/ thank you card for a friend of ours who is always very generous to them for Birthdyas.
