Birthday Party time

Today our twin grandchildren had their Birthday Party at the Gymnastics centre where they go for classes. On Sundays it is let out for two hour slots for parties for 2-12 year olds. A huge variety of equipment is put out for the children to climb on, play with etc. one of the favourites is jumping into the foam pit…this is actually there for gymnasts to use when they are practising complicated jumps and somersaults on the trampolines.

They had 28 friends…mostly from their classes at school but a few from their football team who go to other schools. A very hot day, no aircon in the gym but there was in the room where we set up tea. This is Birthday cake No 2…for the 7 year olds. They had one at home on their actual Birthday. My daughter just did a cupcake for each child as easier than cutting a big cake into pieces. They had a party here two years ago but next year they have been told already that it will just be a few friends each.
