Tower Brewery

We had a little outing to Tadcaster this morning..and had a little wander along the river banks, up an over the old railway viaduct..then back through the town, stopping for a coffee in a small tea room (new to us)..

I  also stopped to grab a shot of the ‘Tower Brewery’..one of three in Tadcaster.

The site started out in the late 1800s as an expansion of the Hotham & Co brewery in York..…

It has been through several changes of owner … including Bass..and is now owned by Molson Coors who seem to be ‘third party brewers’… producing, Caffrey, Stones and Tetley bitters … they also produce ‘Madri’ a Spanish lager brand.
