Good Weather for Mushrooms

Boy did it pour rain yesterday!  Monsoon-like rain but no high winds and no, thankfully, reports of a tornado or microburst touching down.  Phew.  This morning the sun is shining, and it is as if it had never happened except that there was a leak in the studio roof during the storm that will have to be attended to.  No damage to my art things, thankfully.  On another note, the old stump in front has three kinds of fungi growing on it this morning.  Two I've seen before but these fuzzy pink ones are new.  I don't know what kind they are, but I just love how one wee one is growing smack dab in the middle ring, like a bullseye.  This is why I don't have the stump ground down.  I love to see what new things appear on it.  (I posted photos of the stump mushrooms last year on this day!)
