Reminders of the past

It was a lovely evening and my walk took me eight miles away to the edge of Newtownards Airfield, still very much in use today.  There are pillboxes and this construction, all built as part of the defence of the airfield, which was a RAF station during WW2.  Today it is occupied by the Ulster Flying Club.
